The game captures the realism of the F1 sport beautifully, although it still makes it easy for the new players to get the hang of the game in no time.

The game is accessible and will appeal to those who are not a fan of racing games. Considering all of the game’s offerings, it is a must-have to vanquish one’s arcade cravings.

5. Real Racing 2

Most of the games mentioned above were specifically developed for consoles or computers. But Real Racing 2 is an exception, as it was ported over from iOS.

Not too much is to be expected from Real Racing 2, as it is a simple drag racing game. With each winning, you can buy new cars and upgrade existing ones. The controls are fairly simple, with controls for revs and then shifting gears at the right moment.

Real Racing 2 can become boring really fast, but the effort made to make the game feel hardcore is commendable to say the least.

If you have an iOS device, it can be used as a controller while playing Real Racing 2 on your Mac. The accelerometer is decent on iOS devices, and the gameplay is decent enough to give a try.

Agreed, not every racing game is available on Mac, but many of the best games did manage to make their way to the platform. Whether you are a casual gamer or a hardcore racing fan, the list has racing games that will keep you satisfied nonetheless.
